Make Money With Pinterest - An Automated Method

It's official the brand new craze on the internet is Pinterest, where thousands upon thousands of users post and share images on the popular website. It really is a new kind of online social interaction where users can choose to follow each others boards and either like or repin their images to their own boards.

Already thousands of social marketers and online business are finding out the powerful attraction and traffic, that can be generated just by posting images on Pinterest. For example clothes designers with an online store can post there product range to a board on Pinterest, and each and every image will have a link back to their sales page.

Imagine posting images to your board that not only attracts other Pinterest users to like and repin, but also actually click on your image and be redirected to your product page. Just one image posted on Pinterest could generate thousands of interested new clients to your product website.

Method For Making Money With Pinterest - An Automated Method

Earning income from Pinterest can be very easy if you have your own products and website, but for the rest knowing how to make money and do it in a way that takes as less time as possible can be daunting.

The method I am going to expose today involves posting pictures taking them from popular Pinterest user feeds and automatically posting them to a blogger blog. This blogger blog will have your Adsense ads next to your images that will be the way you will be earning your crust. You will then use a service that will schedule posting of pictures to Pinterest through your blogs feed.

Automatically posting these images to your board on Pinterest will result not only in repins and likes, but will also generate traffic to your blogger blog that will in turn raise the potential of Adsense clicks. Just getting one image from your boards to go viral on Pinterest could lead to thousands of visitors to your blog, and maybe hundreds or even thousands in Adsense revenue.

The Pinterest Method Pinned Down

Assuming you have a Pinterest account:

First of all you will need some hosting to store the pictures that will be automatically posted to Blogger, this is because Blogger does not host images unlike Wordpress. Godaddy is relatively cheap and was the hosting company used in the trial of using this method.

Second you will need to create a blogger blog and give it a good picture or image orientated name. Make sure you use the Watermark template and use one 160x600 Wide Skyscraper Adsense ad in the right column of the blog. Change the settings so it only shows two image posts on the home page.

Now unless you have at least 500 followers its going to be pretty pointless to pin pictures to your Pinterest account. There is however a Pinterest follower bot that has been created to help you automatically follow and therefore receive new followers (available here). Make sure to run this bot 3 or 4 times a day for a week, so that you start getting a steady flow of followers.

Once you have got at minimum 500 followers you need to grab a feed from a popular contributor on Pinterest. Just look under the popular pins on the Pinterest dashboard, and just click some of the pin submitters usernames and look for users that have at least 1000 followers minimum. This just means that they must of been pinning images regular, to build up a following of themselves and their boards.

Once you are happy with the user you have selected click on their feed button which is under their profile image. Copy their feed url to your clipboard and then go to your Google Feedburner account, and paste the Pinterest users feed url into Google Feedburner and create the feed. Copy and paste this new Feedburner feed url into notepad for later use.

Next is the interesting part the auto-population of your Blogger blog with pictures from the Feedburner feed of the popular Pinterest user. The software tool we are going to use is the Auto Blog Samurai, this tool is really fantastic and will automatically download pictures from the Feedburner feed and post them to your Blogger blog at scheduled intervals (available here).

Inside the Auto Blog Samurai software you will need to add a new blog and select Blogger, then enter your username and password to your Blogger account. Selecting the Blogger Blog you want to post pictures to, you will also need to enter the FTP settings for your hosting account. If you haven't already i would include a folder called pinterest on your server, so the images can be stored neatly there. Finally add your own personal  post scheduling of between 30 minutes and 2 hours, this will schedule the feed posts on your Blogger blog so the posts look natural.

Next add a new feed under your Blogger blog in Auto Blog Samurai and copy and paste the Feedburner url from earlier on into the appropriate box. Under the heading Feed Extraction select the Full-text feed no extraction required button. Click on the Advanced Settings tab and select NO next to the Post link back to original articles from this feed option. Finally manually delete everything under {article-content} and then click save changes.

Now you can either manually yourself select to update all feeds and select which pictures from the feed you want to upload to your Blogger blog. Or alternatively you can set a scheduler in Auto Blog Samurai that will automatically update feeds and post the images to your blogger blog every few hours. With the scheduler do not be too aggressive because posting too many times on Blogger can lead to your blog being banned for SPAM!

Finally here comes the extra special part of the method, there has been a new service created recently called Pinerly, which helps you to follow and unfollow Pinterest users, find popular pins and more importantly schedule to post pins to your Pinterest boards. Pinerly really is a crucial part to this method, and the service is currently in the invitation stage, but you can gain full access by just referring 5 of your friends to their brand new service.

The Pinerly service allows you to create and schedule pins from your feeds on to your Pinterest boards, so just taking your Blogger blog feed url and posting into the scheduler on Pinerly will automatically pin your blogs pictures to one of your boards. This will in turn generate great interest on your boards in Pinterest, and therefore create likes, repins and ultimately clickthroughs to your Blogger blog and potential clicks on your Adsense ads.

Added Note On Pinerly Service
I was very lucky to receive an early pass into the Pinerly system and it seems some of my blog readers are having problems even when hitting the 5 friends early entry tally. So i thought i would add an alternative manual method that will help until accepted into Pinerly. There is a Pinterest "Pin It" button (found here) that you can add to your browsers bookmark bar, which will allow you to manually add your pictures and descriptions to your boards on Pinterest. This process is really quick and if done regularly once or twice a day, will not only help your images go viral but will also give you some new found followers.
Example Of Image Gone Viral

Your Pinterest Blog Images Have Potential To Go Viral

What is really fantastic about this method is the potential of your images going viral, in fact we have seen a very popular user on Pinterest pin one of the images from our blogs onto a popular board with thousands of followers(after clicking through to our blog from another image on Pinterest).

Which resulted in over 1000 visits per day to our Blogger blog and $114 in Adsense revenue in two days just from that one image. So this method does really have the potential to make you a nice income, please take action and incorporate this method yourself you will not be disappointed.
